Surofhest founded by Tansel, Mutlu and Ender in the fall of 1999 with the name Chained&Blind. After five years of strugling and some member problems to achive the perfect sound, they entered the studio for their first promo EP "Blessed Hatred". Because of some problems they couldn't release the final work untill the summer of 2005.

the wide insprations from many bands like Panther, Manowar, Death, Cannibal Corpse, Cryptosy, Disgorge and many many others created  a sound as a brutal mix of Death Metal and Grindcore which also has a darker background of Black Metal both audial and byblical.

Nowadays they are prepareing for the records of their first studio album "Unholy Strenght"...
